Printer Spooler Keeps Stopping -- Different Troubleshooting Steps

1). If the spooler service is stopped go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete any files in there and then restart your print spooler. If it is not working try step 2
2). Go to the services and applications, then select services.
Go down the list to Print Spooler, and double click it. At the top click on the Log On tab and make sure Local System account is selected, and also that Allow service to interact with desktop is checked.
Now check the hardware profile. This is the important part. Make sure this is enabled. If it is disabled, highlight the profile, and click the enable button. This may solve your issue. If it is not working try step 3
3). Go to start --> run --> type in "regedit" without the quotes, and from there you can navigate the path that is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\PRINT\
then you check the Providers folder and delete the ones that aren't the defaults.
Defaults entries are : LanMan Print Services and Internet Print Provider.
